Congratulations to Pru Butler who has been crowned Triathlon WA’s 2014-2015 Triathlete of the year for 25-29 women! A fantastic result and very well deserved after consistently strong results throughout the season under Coach Lew.

Welcome new team members:
A big welcome to new team members! Pip Livingstone is a Balmoral member looking to have a strong race in Noosa this year and we are really looking forward to watching her progress as she already has an impressive swim, bike, run combo! Ash Smith has joined us from the Canberra ranks and is preparing for Sunny Coast 70.3 , ACT triathlon and Ironman in 2016. Ash is an Instructor at the Royal Military College. Richard Hayden is from our neck of the woods and is training hard for a 5 or 10km swim event in Fiji!  He is enjoying the cross training of gym and running and is getting fitter and stronger as we speak! Dugald Spenceley is also based in the Hills area and is training for the World Duathlon Championships in Adelaide and then is looking to have some strong Olympic and Long Course events later in the year. Matt Tracey is another Balmoral member and experienced triathlete who is working towards a solid Sunny Coast 70.3 race. Andrea Pember has joined Energy Link after a finishing Cairns 70.3 in a solid 5:15 and qualifying to race Zell am see - World 70.3 Championships and from there she is planning race Port Mac and Taupo 70.3 events. Andrea has recently moved to Sydney from Canada so a huge warm welcome to Andrea and all of our new athletes!
